Meet Adam Price
Imagine tuning into your favourite country music radio station... To hear the sounds of your favourite country legends singing all together on one country track.
You think to yourself “I’ve heard this song before” and feel as though you could sing along to the infectious catchy tune... Finally, as you begin to settle into this new song, like slipping into an old favourite pair of shoes, the radio announcer cuts in and says “Ladies and Gentlemen…
That was the new single of recording artist, Adam Price!”
Then right at this moment, you discover that you’ve just found the raw and honest tones of country music All-Over-Again! And this euphoric feeling of hearing all the legends all in one song together, is the simple answer to George Jones’s question and hit song “Who’s Gonna Fill Their Shoes?” in 1986.
With hints of Australian Greats Adam Harvey, Troy Cassardaly, Smoky Dawson and American based stars, Alan Jackson and George Strait, it only takes one listen to know who influences Adam Price’s style of heartfelt, catchy and moving brand of vocals. You need to know that he is no accident. In fact, you could conclude that country music is in his blood.
While most kids started their life when it came to musical influences, Adam was listening to country music with his grandmother and travelling all over the country side with his family following all the great Australian artists of early heritage right through to modern country singers (and later in life) even singers from the USA such as Willy Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Kris Kristofferson and many others.
Adam started singing much later in life after being told in primary school that “you don’t have a voice young man, and you’ll NEVER be a singer” he firmly believed he couldn’t hold a tune, and he never tried again until the age of 31 (at a karaoke night with friends). After a year or so of fun at karaoke, and winning a couple of local talent quests, he was told that if he stood on stage with a guitar and just sung, pure heart felt country music, it would suit his image perfectly.
So that’s exactly what he did, he picked up a guitar at the age of 33 and pursued learning the basics whilst improving his singing with a passion. He became part of a local country music club (The Steel City Country Music Club) who would later enter him in a fairly sizable country music talent quest, where he caught the eye of one of Australia’s largest and most respected board of judges, being Gina Jeffrey’s and Rod McCormack.
It was from this encounter that a couple of songs were to be written and recorded, however before this happened, Adam fell ill with Leukaemia in mid July 2010. This journey took Adam away from his music for about 6 months, however he beat the disease (despite being told he only had 3 to 4 weeks to live).
Upon final release from hospital in November 2010, that Adam learned Gina and Rod wanted to write a debut song for him about his journey. The song they co-wrote with Adam went on to be a hit worldwide, and especially evoking a dramatic response from Cancer Councils and the Leukaemia Foundation, that song was Faith, Hope & Love (which was released in February 2011).

"As the late globally renowned vocal coach Renee Grant Williams from Nashville, Tennessee, who coached Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Kix Brooks, Miley Cyrus, Christina Auguilera and 100's more superstar vocalists, once said in her first session with Adam "Shut up and sing boy!""

Later that same year, Adam added another 10 songs and made an album and released his second hit single “Under Your Spell” which was widely accepted with great reviews from all over the world.
His vocal ability which stems way beyond just pure country music and spans many genres. As the late globally renowned vocal coach Renee Grant Williams from Nashville, Tennessee, who coached Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Garth Brooks, Kix Brooks, Miley Cyrus, Christina Auguilera and 100's more superstar vocalists, once said in her first session with Adam "Shut up and sing boy!" and this gave Adam the re-assurance to keep going and really give his singing career a good go. And that's exactly what he has...
"Faith, Hope & Love" - Adam Price
Along this journey, he fell into one very soulful avenue of singing for lonely souls in aged care facilities, adult day care centres and special needs groups back in 2011, and until this very day he stills enjoy this part very much.
As well as being extremely popular with luxury retirement living villages, country music festivals, bowling clubs, RSL's and more on the traditional country music / rock n roll circuit (being booked out 2 years in advance with his solo / duo concerts).
Through his vocal ability and a super broad range of songs, he imparts a lot of joy and happiness through his gift of music, and highly specialised music that senior citizens know and love… Rock n roll, crooning, old time singalongs, ballads and of course all types of country music from old to new.
So you might say, that Adam has had a miraculous road from a normal every day person, to being moulded from a tough health situation to a country music singer and realizing his true passion and now living his dream!
This is just the beginning for Adam, he now tells his story of his testimony, to churches, schools, youth groups, seniors clubs (probus, rotary and view clubs) as well as having a full commercial show schedule with his solo / duo shows all around his homeland of Australia for country music. He is indeed a rare breed of inspirational speaker and country music singer!

Adam’s music brought mum back to life and gave her so much joy during her dementia care—truly a gift from God.
